The Vietnamese government actively requested the Korean government, which has numerous experience in developing large-scale public housing, to participate in local social housing projects. Social housing projects in Vietnam have many benefits, including the free provision of land from the government, the 50 percent reduction in corporate taxes, and the 10 percent guarantee of economic profits. In order to facilitate the entry of Korean private developers into the housing market in Vietnam, the G2G project will be utilised to pave the way for them.

The goal of this pilot project is to evaluate a total of five candidate sites in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, which the Vietnamese government has proposed. Thus, a project consortium with a lot of local and overseas experience is formed to successfully carry out the project. This is a professional cooperative relationship in the field of architectural planning and construction.
